ATMO'SPHERE
AN AUGMENTED PICTORIAL EXPERIENCE
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Atmo'sphère is a project wishing to offer to a curious public an increased pictorial work. His common thread is wrapped around a chosen painting: Several Circles of Kandinsky. The user immersed in a dark room, finds himself facing the video-projected painting with in hand a smartphone allowing him to interact with the work. Through the camera, motion sensor and microphone of the device, the user takes control over the work, while being surprised by the behavior of this painting that almost seems to come to life.
The project was developed within the framework of the course SI28 "Interactive writing and multimedia", taught by Serge Bouchardon at the University of Technology of Compiègne. Among the main objectives of this project, we intend to develop innovative interactions in order to give the public a different view of the work. This is made possible by a combination of technologies and multimedia elements.

The smartphone is connected to the router with its IP address.

Several interactions are allowed: shaking the device, blowing into it or aiming at a particular color will change the structure of the paint.

IDEATION & PROTOTYPING
PROCESS
From the creation of the initial concept to the achievement of a functional prototype to be exposed publicly. As an Industrial Designer my work was spread from the creation of the application's flowchart and mockups to several graphic works on photoshop and illustrator to be used into the application.
