SURFACE ENGINEERING FOR LOOK & FEEL
DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDELINES TO IMPROVE THE WEARING COMFORT OF
3D PRINTED WRIST BRACES
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project is based on a comprehensive bibliographic search to identify relevant guidelines in the design of 3D printed wrist braces. As being a cutting edge application, few researches have been driven to determine relevant guidelines for such products, this report is a beginning.
I personally find this topic utterly attractive as one of the most promising application of 3D printed products concerns clothes and wearables. The question of comfort is central in those products, during this project several solutions were proposed such as air cushion, or honeycomb structure.
