This is a side student project which was inspired by the product Myo Gesture from the Canadian company Thalmic Labs (see the picture below). The goal was to design and developp a connected armband that would allow the user to control elements of its environment by waving its arm. This armband was prototyped using Arduino chips and sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer...) and the housing was 3D printed. Eventually, the armband gave the opportunity to the user to light up and switch off a lamp with a simple move of the arm.
